Meet THE WRITER

Felicity Nesham-West is in the process of publishing her first full-length novel, No Maps Without Stars. This lyrical reckoning with generational trauma and memory navigates the inherited maps that shape our lives. Weaving personal narrative with prose poetry, Felicity explores how cycles of pain repeat in nonlinear ways, trapping us in patterns dictated by history, oppression, and the ghosts of those who came before. At its heart, this is a feminist reimagining of the women in the author’s lineage—ancestors whose stories were never written down, yet who, like the Pleiades constellation, shine as guiding lights. From a grandmother lost in addiction to a father weighed down by his own inheritance, No Maps Without Stars is a passage through grief, survival, and a radical re-envisioning of the past to illuminate the path forward.
